This policy explains what information 38South Digital ("we", "us") collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it deliberately short, because we collect very little.
What we collect
- Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used — pages visited, rough location, device and browser. This is aggregated and we do not use it to identify you personally.
- Booking details. When you book a call through our scheduling tool (Cal.com), you provide your name, email address and chosen time so we can meet with you.
- What you send us. If you email us, we receive whatever you choose to include — your name, email address and the content of your message.
We do not run user accounts, take payments, or sell anything on this website, so we do not collect passwords or payment details here.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies to measure site usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out browser add-on, without losing access to the site.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the site and our work:
- Google Analytics — website usage measurement.
- Cal.com — booking and scheduling.
- Vercel — website hosting and delivery.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and email correspondence only as long as needed to respond to you and, where relevant, to deliver work you have engaged us for. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention settings.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@38south.digital and we will action reasonable requests. If you are in Australia, you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you have a concern we cannot resolve.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
